Today is a day that holds a triple significance for me. Halloween, the night of the dead, is a time when folklore tells us the souls of those who have passed on return to visit the living. It’s an occasion shrouded in mystery and enchantment, celebrated across the world with costumes and stories. For me, it’s particularly special as it also marks my birthday, adding a personal layer of celebration to this spooky day.
A Day of Personal and Musical Significance
Additionally, this day commemorates the formation of my favorite band, Fangoria, back in 1989. Their music has been a significant part of my life, and celebrating their inception adds another layer of joy to Halloween. Fangoria’s music, much like the spirit of Halloween, has the power to transport us to different realms and experiences.
Though I won’t be hosting one of my renowned costume parties this year, the spirit of Halloween remains undiminished. I encourage everyone to embrace the tradition of dressing up, to take to the streets, and to revel in a night of fear and fun.
